Agent IA SAS: the company behind SoyAgentia

Updated on October 7, 2026 · Reviewed by Alejandro Díaz, CEO of Agent IA SAS

SoyAgentia is the trade name of Agent IA SAS, a company with tax ID (NIT) 901.976.734-4, headquartered in La Estrella, Antioquia, Colombia, that works with businesses in any country. We focus on one thing: building artificial intelligence agents that answer, sell and follow up on the channels where your customers are already writing to you. It isn't a button-based chatbot or a form dressed up as a conversation; it's a product connected to Meta's official WhatsApp Business API and to Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, WordPress and Shopify, and it also carries out concrete actions for your business.

This page exists for a practical reason. Before you connect your WhatsApp number, your catalog and your customers' data to a third party, you deserve to know who that third party is: its legal name, where it is located, who is accountable if something goes wrong and which rules govern how it handles information. Here you'll find our company details, the founder's background, the process we follow to implement and where we stand on Meta's official API and on Law 1581 of 2012, the personal data protection law that governs our company.

You'll also find what we won't tell you. We don't publish improvement percentages, client counts or promises of results we can't back up. We would rather show what can be verified: a registered company with a tax ID and a physical address, a press article about the founder, video testimonials from clients who appear on camera under their own name and company, and a mechanism explained step by step. If anything you read here doesn't add up, write to us and we'll walk you through it in detail.

What we do and who we do it for

We build conversational AI agents that connect to each platform's official channels and are trained on your business's real information: catalog, prices, stock, opening hours, shipping and return policies, frequently asked questions and your brand's tone of voice. From there, the agent does more than reply. It shows products from your web catalog, builds quotes, books appointments in Google Calendar through an OAuth connection to your business calendar and, for businesses in Colombia, sends Wompi payment links while recording the method used (NEQUI, PSE or card) and, once the payment is approved, triggers the electronic sales invoice in Siigo and sends the PDF to the buyer on WhatsApp.

That last stretch is the one that has taken us the most work: closing the loop between the conversation, the payment and electronic invoicing under DIAN Resolution 165 of 2023 (DIAN is Colombia's tax authority), running on each client's own Wompi and Siigo accounts. In many businesses, someone handles that final step by hand, late and with typing errors. Here it happens in the same chat thread where the customer asked for the price, without anyone having to remember; our WhatsApp AI agent guide summarizes everything the agent includes, from catalog and appointments to follow-ups and campaigns.

We work with companies in any country, because the product runs on global platforms, and our team serves clients in Spanish. We are an especially good fit for businesses that get repetitive conversations and lose sales when nobody answers. These are clear signs that an agent makes sense for you:

  • You get the same set of questions every day: price, availability, opening hours, payment methods and order status.
  • You lose conversations outside office hours, on Sundays and on public holidays, and reply the next day, when the customer has already bought elsewhere.
  • You run several channels at once (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, your website), and each customer's history is split across different apps.
  • Your sale ends in a payment and an invoice, and today that final step depends on someone remembering to do it.
  • You need to book appointments, visits or consultations, and your team's schedule lives in Google Calendar.
  • You have leads who dropped out halfway through a conversation, and nobody follows up with them systematically.

Company details: legal name, tax ID and headquarters

SoyAgentia is not a brand without a legal entity to back it. It belongs to a simplified stock company (sociedad por acciones simplificada, or SAS) incorporated in Colombia, with a tax ID, a physical address and tax obligations, and that company is the one that signs contracts and is accountable for the service. The distinction matters when you are about to hand over access to your business line and your company's contact database.

Our headquarters are at Centro Empresarial Promisión, Bodega 131, in La Estrella, in the south of the Aburrá Valley, Antioquia. That is where the product is developed and where our sales team works. Our reach, however, is global: WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, WordPress and Shopify are global platforms, so a business in any country can run an agent with us and get support in Spanish. We don't publish a client count or a list of the countries where we operate, because that would be a figure nobody can audit and one that tends to inflate itself.

A note about our website. Our official domain is https://www.soyagentia.com/ and it is the only official version of the site. If you receive an offer in SoyAgentia's name from another domain or from a number other than +57 300 900 6005, check with us before you pay anything. Prices and the contents of each plan are listed under plans and pricing, the only valid reference: we don't offer parallel rates or discounts that aren't put in writing.

These are the details you can use to verify us, and the ones any commercial document should be issued with:

Alejandro Díaz, founder: from RoboRave International champion to building AI agents

The CEO and founder of Agent IA SAS is Alejandro Díaz. In May 2016 he won RoboRave International in Albuquerque, in the United States, representing the Institución Educativa José Antonio Galán, a school in La Estrella, against 50 international competitors. This isn't a résumé line written to decorate this page: the newspaper El Colombiano covered it in the article “La Estrella tiene campeones mundiales en robótica” (“La Estrella has world champions in robotics”), where he appears as Jorge Alejandro Díaz, and you can check it in one click.

We mention this because it explains how the product is built. A robotics competition isn't won with a slide deck: the robot has to work on the day of the test, on a track you don't control, with sensors that fail and the clock running. We hold a conversational agent to that same standard. An agent that gives polished answers in a rehearsed demo but breaks as soon as it meets a real catalog, with sold-out items, discounted prices and customers who make typos, is of no use to anyone.

There is also a geographic connection that is no coincidence. La Estrella, the municipality in the south of the Aburrá Valley where the founder competed on behalf of a public school, is the same municipality where Agent IA SAS has its headquarters today. The company didn't move to a coworking space in another city to look bigger: it operates from the place where it all began.

Today Alejandro Díaz runs the company and leads product decisions: what gets integrated and what doesn't, what gets promised and what doesn't, and where the line falls between what an agent resolves on its own and what must go to a person. Many of the rules we set for our own sales communication, such as not inventing figures or promising timelines that depend on third parties, come from that same table.

How we work: no made-up launch dates, and no disappearing afterwards

We don't connect a number before we know what the agent needs to solve. The order matters: first we understand the business, then we connect the channels, and only at the end do we open the conversation to the public. Our team guides the rollout, so you are never left alone in front of a dashboard.

We don't set a go-live date in hours or days, and we suggest you be wary of anyone who promises one without knowing your case. Some steps don't depend on us: your business verification with Meta, the approval of message templates, having your catalog in a usable format, or the credentials for your payment gateway and your accounting software. What we do commit to is supporting you through each of those steps and keeping you informed about where the process stands.

Nor do we hand over the agent and disappear. A conversational agent degrades if the catalog changes and nobody updates it, or if new questions start coming in and nobody adds them to its knowledge base. Reviewing what people are asking and adjusting accordingly is part of the job, not an extra.

The concrete phases (discovery, official channel connection, training, defining the agent's actions, testing and a measured launch) are summarized in the implementation section of our overview of AI agents for WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and TikTok.

Our stance: Meta's official API and personal data protection (Law 1581 of 2012)

SoyAgentia operates as an authorized Meta Tech Provider with Embedded Signup enabled, the Meta-hosted signup flow available to approved Tech Providers. In practice, your number is registered on the WhatsApp Cloud API through the official flow, using your own Meta credentials, and the account stays in your company's name; our WhatsApp AI agent guide explains what that connection involves. This is no bureaucratic detail: automations that run on WhatsApp Web or on the desktop app with unauthorized scripts put the number at risk of a ban, and when that happens the business loses its most valuable asset, the line its customers already have saved.

Working with the official API also means accepting rules worth knowing before you sign. Within the 24-hour customer service window that opens with the customer's last message, the agent can reply with free-form text; outside that window, any message the business initiates must use a template approved in advance by Meta and go to contacts who agreed to receive it. Meta charges for that messaging according to its official rate cards, separately from the plan you sign up for with us, and from October 1, 2026 it also charges service messages sent inside the window. That's why we don't publish figures here and refer you instead to our WhatsApp automation guide, which explains how those charges work.

On personal data, we operate under Law 1581 of 2012, Colombia's personal data protection law, and its implementing Decree 1377 of 2013, with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) as the supervisory body, and with our databases registered in line with External Circular 002 of 2015. Data subjects can access, update, correct and delete their data, request proof of the authorization they gave and revoke it; inquiries are answered within ten business days and complaints within fifteen business days, by writing to contacto@soyagentia.com. Because the operation runs on global platforms, there are international data transfers, for example to Meta in the United States for the WhatsApp integration, which are handled under Article 26 of that same law.

This stance translates into concrete day-to-day practice: the agent identifies itself as an assistant and doesn't pretend to be a person, honors requests to talk to a human and transfers the chat with its full context, and doesn't flood people with messages outside the window without an approved template and a legitimate reason. The full purposes of processing, the data processors, the time frames and the channel for exercising your rights are detailed in the Privacy Policy published on this site.

How to contact us

The fastest channel is WhatsApp, at +57 300 900 6005. A heads-up: the first to reply is our own agent. That's deliberate, because it's the most direct demonstration of the product we can offer; if you'd rather talk to someone on the sales team, just ask and the agent will transfer the conversation with its history. You can also email contacto@soyagentia.com if you need everything in writing, want to send documents or have a request related to the processing of personal data.

If you want to see the product in action before talking to us, the “Soy Agentia” YouTube channel has two video testimonials, in Spanish, from clients who appear under their own name and company, Transportes Gran Bretaña and Nelly Seguros LTDA, plus three product tutorials. We would rather you judge us on that than fill this page with logos and no context.

For plans and what each one includes, see current plans: that's where the up-to-date information lives, and it's the only pricing source we maintain. If your case needs an integration that isn't on our usual list, tell us and we'll say honestly whether it can be evaluated or isn't feasible. And if you prefer to meet in person, we can arrange it at our headquarters at Centro Empresarial Promisión, Bodega 131, La Estrella, Antioquia.

Frequently asked questions

Which company is legally accountable for the SoyAgentia service?

Agent IA SAS, a company incorporated in Colombia with tax ID (NIT) 901.976.734-4, headquartered at Centro Empresarial Promisión, Bodega 131, La Estrella, Antioquia. SoyAgentia is the trade name we operate under, but the company that signs contracts, issues invoices and is accountable for the service is Agent IA SAS. Any purchase order, contract or formal request should be issued to that legal name and tax ID. For contractual matters or anything related to the processing of personal data, the written channel is contacto@soyagentia.com.

What is SoyAgentia's relationship with Meta, and how can I verify it?

SoyAgentia works with Embedded Signup, the Meta-hosted signup flow available to approved Tech Providers, through which a business connects its number to the WhatsApp Cloud API using its own Meta credentials. You can verify it yourself when you connect: authorization happens inside Meta's interface, with your account, and the resulting WhatsApp Business Account is registered to your company, not to ours. If you later decide to switch providers, you can revoke that access from your own Meta business portfolio.

What backs up the founder's technical experience?

Alejandro Díaz, CEO and founder, won RoboRave International in Albuquerque, in the United States, in May 2016, representing the Institución Educativa José Antonio Galán of La Estrella against 50 international competitors. The newspaper El Colombiano covered it in the article “La Estrella tiene campeones mundiales en robótica” (“La Estrella has world champions in robotics”). It's the only recognition we cite, because it's the only one on record in the press and you can check it in one click. We don't pad the bio with extra awards or with titles nobody can verify.

Why don't you publish client numbers, countries or result percentages?

Because we couldn't back them up. A percentage increase in sales depends on each business's margins, product, traffic and sales team; attributing it to the agent would be dishonest. We prefer to explain mechanisms that can be checked: how WhatsApp's 24-hour window works, why a Meta-approved template is needed to write first, what happens when a lead leaves a conversation halfway. As social proof, we publish two video testimonials from clients who appear under their own name and company, and nothing more.

Can I see real SoyAgentia clients before hiring you?

Yes. The “Soy Agentia” YouTube channel has two video testimonials from named clients: Transportes Gran Bretaña and Nelly Seguros LTDA. They are two companies with a name and a spokesperson, not anonymous logos or unattributed quotes. The same channel has three tutorials showing the dashboard, how business information is loaded and how the agent behaves. If you'd like to talk to a client in a sector similar to yours, ask on WhatsApp at +57 300 900 6005 and we'll see whether someone is willing to speak with you.

How do I check that a message or offer in SoyAgentia's name is legitimate?

Check three things. The domain: the only official site is www.soyagentia.com. The number: our sales WhatsApp is +57 300 900 6005, where our agent replies first and, if you ask, a person from the team takes over. And the legal name: any contract, purchase order or invoice must be in the name of Agent IA SAS, tax ID (NIT) 901.976.734-4. Valid prices are the ones published under plans and pricing; we don't offer parallel rates or discounts that aren't put in writing. If something doesn't match, email contacto@soyagentia.com before you pay.

What happens to my customers' data when I connect an agent?

It is processed under Law 1581 of 2012, Colombia's personal data protection law, and Decree 1377 of 2013, with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) as the supervisory authority and with database registration in line with External Circular 002 of 2015. Data subjects can access, update, correct and delete their information, request proof of the authorization they gave and revoke it by writing to contacto@soyagentia.com; inquiries are answered within ten business days and complaints within fifteen. Because the operation runs on global platforms, there are international data transfers, which are handled under Article 26 of that same law.

Can I visit your office or meet the team in person?

Yes. Agent IA SAS is headquartered at Centro Empresarial Promisión, Bodega 131, in La Estrella, Antioquia, in the south of the Aburrá Valley, and that's where the product is developed and where our sales team works. If you'd prefer an in-person meeting, message us on WhatsApp at +57 300 900 6005 or email contacto@soyagentia.com and we'll arrange it. It isn't a requirement for signing up: implementation happens online, because the dashboard is web-based and the Meta connection is made from your own accounts. We publish the address mainly so you know who you're doing business with.
